Movement preparation routine

The short video series linked below goes over tissue preparation, muscle activation and dynamic preparation. It's a routine I follow to loosen up in the morning or before my workouts. I see it as an alternative to yoga or stretching where specific muscles are targeted.

I got this from following Peter Attia MD, an advocate of longevity and health. He defines the elements of longevity as:

  1. Lifespan = Living longer
  2. Health span = Living better

Things you'll need:

  • Foam roller
  • Yoga mat
  • Massage ball
